We are a small ethical maker, producing in limited runs. The 100% natural fibres we use in our products are either low impact (such as linen which derives from flax and requires little or no pesticides and relatively little water to grow) or fully traceable, cruelty-free renewable resources (such as non-mulesed wool and tussah silk). We also exclusively use OEKO-tex certified natural dyes - extra assurance that our slings are safe for both the skin and the environment.

After you purchase this sling, 5 trees will be planted where they're most needed in the world; once mature, they'll do their part to help reduce the effects of climate change and offset the damage done by deforestation (a practice which results in 15% of all greenhouse gas emissions!)

Anyone can use a wrap of any size (different lengths = different types of carry), but some people find it useful to calculate their base size and to go from there. You can find our full sizing guide here. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by all the sizing information and unsure of which one to go for, it may be helpful for you to know that most people who carry their babies find size 6 to be a perfect starting point. A size 6 will allow you to get used to wrapping and to try out many different carry types to find out what you like best.
